the hay truck that was puttering down 105 in front of the semi in front of us
We got lunch at Ninfa's - best tortillas on the planet.

And then just wandered from Aggie store to Aggie store with a stop at the Half Price Books - it's really, really, really unfortunate that they're no where where we live but it's probably a good thing for our wallet and keeping the number of books we own somewhat in check -, a Greek shop - I've always been curious as to what a Greek store in the South would be like. Turns out to be much better than any other Greek shop I've been in. It also happened to be initiation day so the girl checking me out asked if I was in town for initiation - and Jamba Juice.

After we got back to the Woodlands so that Callie could get in her apartment, we got Freebirds for dinner and headed into Houston.
We met up with Callie's boyfriend, Ray, to go to a showing of Pandora's Box, a German silent film in Discovery Green. The movie was a bit difficult to follow and it ended up being cold after dark with the damp settling in and a light breeze. You can just see the screen toward the bottom right.
After the show, we headed to La Carafe with 2 of Ray's friends to hang out and have a few drinks. The bar is apparently in the oldest building in Houston. It was pretty neat though I did hear a girl complain that it smelled musty - clearly, she was just too fussy for that kind of place. I should have taken some pictures but it was very dimly lit and I was still cold. It has an old school jukebox that we chose some awesome tunes from. All in all a fun night. Will and I; Callie and Ray
