First, we failed to read the suggested directions and ended up on FM 249/1774 with everyone else headed to the Rennesiance Festival from Houston. It took 2.5 hours to get there. Thankfully, we'd headed out "early" in hopes of being able to wander around and see some sights before the wedding itself. In the end, we had just enough time to make a pit stop and get a seat.
The bride and groom were driven by horse-drawn carriage from the Globe Theatre to the chapel with several lords in attendance. This was probably the most dramatic portion of the ceremony but sadly because we were already in the chapel we missed the majority of it.
Their wedding ceremony was short and sweet with a First Cornithians reading from the King James version of the Bible - interesting because in that translation it's "faith, hope and charity" as opposed to the more familiar "faith, hope and love" - and a Shakespearean sonnet.
I love Gabby's goofy grin as they head back down the aisle after being married.
this lady played very nice music during the reception
wedding cake! It was really good.
I think Heidi was threatening to smash Gabby's face in his super yummy groom's cake - only problem was that there wasn't much of it.
Apparently arm wrestling was a thing with Ravi and Gabby in college. Ravi didn't even let the groom win.
