After going to a very lovely Easter Vigil service – our first ever – on Saturday, we had a good afternoon with the fam and a lot of food for Easter.
We had maple-glazed ham, roasted asparagus in citrus dressing, carrots, and best of all cheesy potatoes.
That’s my niece finishing off the very last yummy spoonful that was left in the dish after the 11 of us got through with dinner.
After sitting at the dinner table for quite a while, many of us decided that a relocation for a cooler room was in order and we headed for the sun porch to hang out and continue our conversations.
My nephews don’t like having their pictures taken.
But my parents were being cute. Or lazy as my dad said. Mom was apparently holding him up since there were no seats for them on the porch. But dessert is always everyone’s favorite. Here’s a picture of the table:
That’s the yummy cake I made at the front, Savarese’s cookies (all the way from Brooklyn), and a chocolate cake at the other end.
