day 2 – dingle part 3

to continue some more…

Our next stop off was a beach that is named after a movie that was filmed in the area, Ryan’s Daughter.  Gorgeous.

Hi Mom!

That’s Will – he’s looking for a geocache.

There were even people surfing.  They were all wearing wetsuits (there was even a toddler and he was so cute in his little wetsuit) but I still can’t imagine how cold the water was.

He’s still looking… he never did find it.

Next up, beehive huts.  We think we may have not found the “right” ones but they were still cool.

Finally we were “allowed” to eat lunch.  This is what happened when we asked to see the menu.

The cafe was attached to the visitor’s center for Dunbeag, an old promontory fort.

We ended the day at Carriglea House B&B.

I thought their living quarters were very cool with the ivy changing colors for fall.
