Our first day we took the bus to Kotor via Budva which came in handy later in the trip. It was about a 2 hour trip in a sunny, barely air conditioned bus playing Montenegrin folk music. We started with a yummy lunch at Galion on the water.
We all elected to not hike up the 3 billion stairs to the church and fort above the town. It was way too hot.
Instead we wandered through the medieval town. You can see Will, Liz and Joe G below.
The Catholic church in the old town is 1200 years old!
And a common theme in Montenegro - cafés. Cafés everywhere! Below is the clock tower in the town.
On our way back to Podgo, we just caught a bus from Kotor and we ended up having to pack all 5 of us into the back row of the bus - at least until we got to Budva.
