We officially have our first…
you got it…. monkey wrench in our Denver plans.
We’re moving forward with our plans to move to Denver and Will turned in his PCS worksheet which will determine everything that we will be entitled to in our move.
Well, it turns out that even though it’s included on the form, we found out that one of the things that we’d been really been counting on getting – having one of our cars shipped – isn’t even going to be considered.
With 2 cars, the 2 of us and a 3 month old, we were expecting to just be able to ship Will’s Mazda 6 and drive out in whatever SUV-type vehicle we buy between now and then (we’ve decided what we want but haven’t actually made it official).
Not so much.
It’s not going to be an insurmountable problem – we’ve actually come up with a myriad of solutions – we just have to figure out all the specifics to our various solutions in order to decide what the best course of action is.
